よりよい社会をつくるために

I think、
Spirituality is a basic principle of making the society better.
The practical implication of spirituality is ethical way of life.
If ethical way of life doesn't work properly in a society, Law is enforced.
Religious application of law is religious law, like Shariah....
If religious laws clash or doesn't work properly, civil law is enforced.
If religious law or civil law doesn't work properly in a democratic society, fundamentalism emerges.
Fundamentalism could take the form of terrorism, depending on how it is viewed.
War on terrorism makes society more violent, not a better society.

So what to do to make a society better, is going back to the basic principle.
What is the basic principle ?
It is spirituality.
Spirituality of individuals is the spirituality of the society.
What we can cultivate is this spirituality.
The way and means to make a better society is to create and cultivate human spirituality.
